About the Company
Kickingbird Flowers & Gifts is a family owned business serving Edmond and the surrounding areas since 1988.
Owners, Debbie McFarlin and her daughter Kim McFarlin head up a dedicated professional staff making sure your order gets the special care you deserve. We use the freshest flowers to create the unique floral gift for that special occasion. "Our goal is your satisfaction".
Kickingbird Flowers & Gifts is a Teleflora shop. We meet their specific requirements and carry a large selection of their specials. We can send flowers across the state, across the country and anywhere in the world. All outgoing orders require an additional service fee of $7.00. All international orders require a $18.00 relay fee. You can be assured that your order will be taken care of properly.

We are closed on Sundays.
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 2 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

We provide continuous daily delivery service to Edmond businesses, residences and hospitals. We also deliver to North Oklahoma City, Mercy Hospital, Deer Creek and Arcadia. Deliveries to all funeral homes can be made upon receiving your order 3 hours prior to the service. Delivery fee of $12.00 for Edmond will be added to your arrangement. Sales tax for Edmond is 8.5%. Edmond is a large delivery area, outlying areas may require an additional delivery fee and may require contact by phoning recipient.

Care of Flowers
Keep flowers in a cool place. Away from windows, vents blowing air and front or back doors where there is a draft. Change water daily and re-cut stems at an angle. If by chance there is a problem, please contact us within 48 hours.
- Keep fresh flowers away from drafts and extreme temperatures, which can quickly dry out the flowers and cause wilting.
- Do not place your arrangement near fruit or in the path of cigarette smoke. The ethylene gas is detrimental to many flower types.
- Avoid placing flower arrangements in windowsills and other areas with full sun where flowers can wilt due to overheating.
- Most flowers will last longer under cool conditions.
- Keep your vase filled with water! Flowers stay fresher, longer when they can get a drink!
- If your flowers came in a basket or other container with foam, add fresh water every day.
- Immediately remove dead or wilting leaves and stems from fresh flower arrangements.
- Watch your water. When it gets cloudy it’s time to change it out.
- For best results, cut stems with a sharp knife at an angle about one to two inches from the bottom. This allows them to better absorb water. Do not use scissors to cut your flowers because they can crush the stems and prevent water absorption.
- Place loose stems or wrapped bouquets of fresh flowers in water
Delivery Policy
A local delivery fee of $12.50 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.) U.S. orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
